Cannon Hunting

I think that is a interesting idea, now explosive bullets off course, per hunting regs.

Actually I belive that it would be perfectly legeal. Check your hunting regs!:D:D

Doesn't look legal in BC for migratory game birds with round balls much less lead ones where it lists 10 gauge as the maximum size bore on page 16.Other than that i think its a go for deer as only a Minimum of 20 gauge is listed with #1 buck or larger.

I agree on the birds, as I don't do any bird hunting, I don't know the reg's there so well!!

What sort of a scopec for deer/moose/bear do you think!!?:D:D

That was so stupid, I actually laughed out loud.

As for legality in BC, I believe it is against the law:

It is unlawful to hunt with a set gun, or to hunt wildlife with a
pump, repeating or auto-loading shotgun with a magazine capable
of holding more than two shells.

I would consider a cannon a "set gun". But I am sure there is nobody here that would actually try something like that.;)

:D

A set gun is something else , think boobytrap with a trip wire on the trail for that thing.
As for sighting it maybe tying an sks rifle to the cannon barrel would work best as that would have about the same accuracy.
