Hi All,
Does anyone have experience with this rifle? Reviews?

I'd love some input.

Anyone know who has the best deal on one right now?

Thanks guys!

I was looking into these, very little info on them. Search youtube there is a short video on one. Frontier has them in stock and they were on sale last I looked.

Spend the extra. Get an HS50 or a Barrett. I like the HS50 better but the Barrett is less expensive. These are the minimum I'd go for a 50BMG.

Really like my Barrett 99. I looked at the Canstar, but couldn't bring myself to do it. In my humble opinion it is well worth the few extra bucks for the Barrett. (or the Steyr)

In a nutshell........you could expect accuracy comparable to an SKS at best.

Believe someone said these rifles shoot "Minute of side of a barn".

Save the extra money and buy one of the previously mentioned alternatives or go full retard and get a custom built from Alberta Tactical Rifle! :D

What sort of accuracy can a guy expect with the M99 50bmg? Will it hold MOA with match ammo or properly developed hand loads?

HS 50 is awesome. Sideways mag housing will chip your teeth if your eye relief is improperly set.

That's just an Internet rumor:evil::p:stirthepot2::stirthepot2: ............... There's plenty of clearance not a chance is not like you witnessed someone toothed by a Steyr ;-> I say cap it with gold very classy!

I like the single shot HS50 better than the mag one anyways.

I should also add that the Magpul Miad works nicely on the HS50.

Haha eff u DG!!! DG was right there when it happened. I should add that it was a suppressed version. Recoil was a tad stiffer.

According to the review done in 2012 by Special Weapons magazine 3 MOA, but they did not state what ammo they used, certainly not handloads.

Definitely not hand loads! I'm approaching 1/2 MOA at 300 yds with hornady Amax's. Haven't really shot it much past that yet but I see no reason that it wouldn't be comparable to the Steyr.

Good thing it didn't happen to Viper! We would have had to get him airlifted to the nearest dentist and the #####ing and moaning would have been unbearable! Although once they put tha gold cap in he would hush like a lil baby;-) if there's one thing that the Greek like better than sheep and food it's Gold!!!
