CanStar Arms is a Canadian manufacturer who has been producing 1911 style pistols for awhile now and have begun producing an affordable bolt-action single-shot .50BMG rifle for the Canadian market. We have had several local buyers interested in these firearms and so we decided to put the new shipment of these rifles up on the website for nationwide shipping. The offerings for .50BMG rifles in Canada have been fairly slim for many years and of course many of the selections are excellent but carry a high price tag -- these CanStar CS-50s provide an easier entry to the .50-caliber long-range shooting field for a lot of shooters. Best of all, they're made here in Canada!
The CS-50s come with 29" button-rifled heavyweight fluted barrels with muzzle brakes, adjustable collapsing stocks, AR-15 style pistol grips (compatible with any Magpul, Tango Down, Hogue, Ergo, etc grips on the AR-15 aftermarket), and adjustable Timney target trigger. These come with integral folding, rotating bipod similar to the Parker-Hale style bipods on a lot of other precision setups. These also come with a picatinny 1913 rail for optics.
They're a sweet package for the money and a great way to get in to the extremely long-range shooting that .50 and .338 shooters get to play with.
