CZ 75! :D

I used to think they were one of the ugliest guns around with all the lighting cuts and the skinny muzzle... (yet one of the most ergonomics handguns out there) until I handled a stainless version! So shiny....drool! Love at first sight!! :) I didn't want to give it back to the guy! So I ended up ordering one this morning, looking forward to shooting it. I hope it won't disappoint in reliability...

btw one thing I found was that mags (mec-gar?) didn't drop freely and also almost had to be forced in. :S Normal with CZ's?

That is a design feature.
Replace the mag break with a flat one or you could bend it carefully.

You won't be disappointed in your CZ on either count. Trigger pull can be reduced by installing either a 13# or 15# mainspring. A competition hammer will eliminate any trigger creep. Ken Soucie down your way did my CZ 85 Combat and it is one sweet shooter. Trigger pull is =< 5#'s.

The stainless will be my next purchase. Love my CZ's.

Take Care

I love my cz. Put a set of hogue finger grooves on it and it is by far my favorite, like it was made just for my hand. I held a shadow the other day and I really liked the grips on it too.

Careful, next thing you know you'll be selling off your Beretta.... ;)

That's what I did with my Berettas after getting my first CZ75 circa 1990.

NAA.

design feature how? so you don't loose your mags? :p

European design feature. They don't like to drop their mags in the muck.

My first (and last) Beretta was a 92 with the mag release at the bottom of the grip and mags always stopped there.

Nice, very nice! FWIW, I traded a Beretta 92F and some cash for one in satin nickel just like the one in Trigun's photo. I definitely prefer it over the Beretta so there are no regrets on my part. Mine is accurate and reliable. I think you're going to be very pleased with it. A satin stainless is on my want list!

I really like mine. I just ut a 13# mainspring in it and bought some grips from Marshal grips in Hungry. ( http://www.marschalgrips.com/) My gun looks cool and shoots really well. I highly recommend those grips to anyone who wants some nice wood on their gun. They were only $56 US shipped to my door.

I'm really starting to notice and appreciate the eastern European look in those guns

Careful, next thing you know you'll be selling off your Beretta....
Neah, I lost my gun virginity to the Beretta..so she's kinda special, but who says I can't have a mistress on the side ;)

...now I might end up selling my 1911
