Can't Decide between Glock 21 and Kimber Custom 2

Did ya look at the m&p 45?

Since you've decided to go Tupperware I'd say try a m&p in your hand before you go all in with the glock.
I love my glock but I love my m&p more!

ok... not reading all the threads, but same as other posts. Try the guns that you have in mind, and buy the gun or guns that fit your need and how it handle in your hand (nutshell version) and keep in mind ammo costs.

Love the G21, one of the best Glock's IMO.
Unless they changed the mags though the 10 rounder's suck. The older pinned full cap mags were great though-if you can find them.
Never had a Kimber but I've got the 1911 (2011) base covered.
I used a G21 for several years and sold it, I have 1911/2011 pistols now.
I'm not looking for another Glock, as for an M&P I'll pass as well.
I'm just not a fan of striker fired triggers,
YMMV

I've owned a Kimber custom and sold it, it was a fine pistol however I'm not that fond of the 1911style specifically because of takedown...I now own a Glock 21 which is a keeper for me...I have average sized hands and I like the bulk of the 21...no issues with mags and it is a very accurate handgun...I like my Glock.

If you have larger hands you will enjoy the Glock, simple field strip and reliable. I think it will come down to trigger feel, a lot do not like the long first pull on the glock.

What do you mean by "long first pull?" Each pull is the same, unless you ride the reset, which is easy due to how audible it is on a Glock. Usually "long first pull" refers to DA/SA gun.

To the OP, I would definitely handle the G21 first. They are a bit thicker than a G17, which some feel is too thick to begin with.

If not a 1911 why not buy an HK45.
Quality firearm, crazy accurate, easy to clean can be carried cocked and locked.

I'll check them out, thanks for the heads up on that. i liked my kimber but i hate 1911 tear down. For some reason i have a really hard time with it. it's always painfull. partly due to my hands not working as good as they used too.
