Looking at several 12 gauge shotguns and weighing the pros and cons of each for general waterfowl and upland hunting. I already have a couple of beauty doubles for uplands so this will be primarily a waterfowl gun. Let's hear what others have to say. I tried searching other threads but did not find anything, so apologies for the uber-anal that may become a Karen if this thread already exists.
My list has narrowed to the following four:
- Benelli Super Vinci
- Benelli Super Black Eagle 2
- Benelli M2 Field
- Beretta A400
Of these four, I am leaning towards the SBE2 and the M2.
Which gun would you choose?
I left the Benelli Super Sport and the SBE3 off of my list. The Super Sport as it is just too shiny. I excluded the SBE3 after reading several US based articles about difficulties with patterns being way off the point of aim. Maybe someone can chime in on the SBE3 and if it outclasses my shortlist.
