I’m looking for primers in all sizes does anyone know a dealer that has any this shortage is ridiculous
In particular small rifle and large handgun

If you find some, buy enough for several years, the shortage isn't going away for at least another year or two, possibly longer. Many of us saw this coming a couple of years ago, and stocked up, everyone else will either do without, or pay high prices, if they are lucky enough to find primers.

I was shocked to see a vendor at this weekends gunshow selling primers limited to 100 per person....is this a manufacturer issue,a supply chain issue or what ??
Pricing doubled in a bit past a year...hmmm..

Yes, yes....cause hoarding will help elevate this mess. FKN dumb and greedy idea!

So spend the same amount of time and money finding some, buy 100, and run out next year, as opposed to buying a brick, and not running out for several years. I haven't bought rifle primers in five years , so I didn't contribute to the shortage, but I won't run out in the next five years either. But I do use several thousand shotgun primers every year, so I did by 10,000, when they were available, rather than run out next year.

Primers are becoming more available in the USA, and some American shooters have mentioned that they are even starting to go down in price a bit. We are seeing a few small Rifle and Pistol primers here in Canada, but large primers are still virtually impossible to find.
I think 6 months to a year we will be seeing more. My concern is without hand-gun sales and reloading components not selling due to lack of primers; how many dealers will be left standing here in Canada. Everyone is getting f***ed over, not just us end users.

Uh oh, sounds like someone else can't find primers. It only makes sense to grab extra if/when you find some. What? Buy a hundred and hope you can find more in six months or a year when you run out or will that hundred last you a few years?

Well handgun sales are now stopped here. Maybe the price of components will go down? I'll stock up (more) if that happens

From what I have heard it's because all the factories are grabbing up all they can or could. in the USA during Covid gun sales went through the roof and just prior to this because of the riots. hence the reason for the primer shortage . and since Covid has possibly ended ? people are hosing others because they are still using Covid as an excuse for this shortage . as in company's raising prices . do you know why our natural gas prices have gone up so much and as this woman on TV said yesterday that to expect it to go up more ? it's because the Natural gas here is being sold off shore . shipped out of here . I hope the pot smokers who voted for the turd enjoy either freezing or paying high prices this winter .

I wouldn't worry if I can or cant find primers. I've been through at least 2 primer shortages, Pmag shortages, powder shortages, AR 15 shortages and the likes. Not my my first rodeo homeboy! Again I will say..stupid idea to get new shooters into panic mode and buy up 2 years worth of primers in one visit to a gun shop. Wanna know why 1000 Lg rifle primers are going for $300....cause retards in the community are suggesting buying hundreds of thousands of primers in a single visit to your LGS. Good thing shops like Prairie Guntraders or Budget shooters supply wont cater to panicking hoarders.
No point arguing with a greedy selfish fools though....you guys are gonna do what you are gonna do.

...."Retards in the community"....nice. We're all supposed to be on the same side. Blaming active and competitive shooters for the shortage IS retarded.
When components are plentiful, there are those who buy lots. If those of you who choose not to when you see the store shelves full, well....I'm not gonna make your problem my problem
