Can't get Colt handguard off....what am I missing?

Another question is why? I only took mine off because I parted out a Colt CAR rifle to get a Colt A3 flat top upper. Colt never sold any rifle flat top uppers as a seperate part. Then I ended up selling it anyways. I did have to buy the wrench to get the FF tube off.

She's sitting doing nothing during the ban....partly want to stick it on the ATMS, partly just messing around with what I've got lying around. Might use it, barrel, and gas on a MRA set for kicks...at this point it's just sitting in the safe going to waste, I want to put it to work. Once the ban gets reversed it'll all go back onto the colt. It's one of my favourite rifles. Pisses me off it's doing nothing these days.
