Perhaps try swapping front and rear base / rings from front to back and vice versa.
Be sure you're turning the dials the right way (my brother fell for that one for a while).
If you are truely out of elevation, Burris rings with inserts, shims or canted base may all be cheaper than new scope.
on a rifle, u move the back sight in the direction u want the bullet to go.I can't swap the bases, but shimming up the front base makes sense. The scope is new.

on the front sight, it's u move the front sight towards where the bullet is
hitting. for a scope, same as a front sight. if u are out of elevation,
u would shim up the rear base to point the scope to the POI.
works for me

Good luck with that. Them boys just loves them see-thru mounts here in NB, specially the ones over Moncton way. You're going to have to ditch the high see-thru mounts, and go with a lower mount. Choose one or the other, scope or irons...not both
X2! .....This is the universe's way of telling you not to scope a lever action.![]()
