As the title says.. i have found the same thing with my Dillon 550. If in pay very close attention to the rhythm of my stroke (now that sounds a bit odd, LOL !!!) on my Dillon 550 i can get a very consistent powder throw.
I normally weigh every 1/10 charge just to make sure of the charge and over the two years i have been reloading have seen that consistency comes from rhythm of the stroke (LOL). To break it down even more.. its the amount of movement (or shake) the powder measure goes through on each cycle that i think gives the consistency.
I measure my powder in milligrams, which is a finer measurement than grains. 64.79 milligrams = 1 grain. Therefore 6.479 milligrams = 0.1 grains. I use VVN320 and IMR SR4756 (in 9mm, .40 and .45) and both meter well with this system I usually get about a 3 milligram spread (over 100 loaded cases, 10 of the weighed) at most when i pay attention to rhythm.
Another thing i do is always freshly fill the powder hopper using a funnel (I use a piece of paper formed into a funnel) for each loading session. I found that powder does settle over time and a freshly filled hopper will deliver most consistent charges.
Ok my last suggestion is to use VVN320 instead of Titegroup. Both powders have very similar burn rates but i do know that VVN320 really meters well and is a very clean powder.
HOpe this helps
