Can't Remove Shroud from Tavor. Advice??

I used some blue lock tight type thread material (ergo brand 4052 thread locker - medium strength One-component anaerobic adhesive) to keep my barrel shroud from unscrewing on my Tavor. I am not able to remove it by hand now because it is too strong. I cannot use a wrench since the shroud is smooth and covers the whole barrel. Is it safe for me to use a torch and apply the flame inside the end of the barrel and not on the shroud directly to avoid damaging it's finish? Will putting a propane torch flame in the end of the barrel work to loosen the blue medium strength thread locker without damaging the Tavor barrel?

It happened to me once. I wrapped the shroud with a leather belt (one even leyer) then tightened the shroud in the bench vise, and rotated the rifle. It came off nice and easy without any damage.

HA! That's a great idea! Thanks man!

Is there any risk of damaging the rifle by twisting the barrel with the kind of force necessary?
