Can't ship optics to Canada?

My average is 4-5 days from arriving at customs. it used to take longer but I get about 30 packages a year so maybe I'm being flagged as OK. 2 weeks is not out of the ordinary.

Was it by LAND or Air ?
Do you also know if you pay brokerage fees with USPS, I've heard they were the best to ship to Canada

Definitely USPS is by far the best method.
By contrast, UPS charges a minimum orf $35-40 brokeragde
Ya I have found in the past that UPS is a total rip off. Even Fed Ex is better. Generally when I purchase something from the States I request USPS since UPS has an absolutley ridiculous brokerage fee.
