Can't WAIT to try my new toy

So I went "window shopping" at Williams...no real intentions to buy anything in particular when lo and behold, what did I see? a Crimson Trace laser for my Glock! I have wanted one of those for a long time but never really looked for one...in some ways this was an "impulse" purchase...but I can't wait to try it!

I can't wait for a range report. Why? I shoot lousy with lasers and I want to know if it is just me. The little red dot jumps all over the place when I shoot. I remember thinking to myself the Bad Guy would wonder if I was going to shoot him/her in the body, head, arm, hand, or schwantz! Regards, Richard

Ok so I had a chance to try it out yesterday..so far I love it!

we set up a rest for the gun and shot pretty much exclusively using the laser and then we made adjustments...I think it was calibrated for the small frame Glocks as it required quite a lot of adjustment to get it close to point of impact on my large G20...in the end we ran out of ammo before zeroing it in completely but it was only a couple of inches off...

in terms of fit, the slide was definitely rubbing against it and you can see a piece of silver foil starting to appear in this pic

in general, i like the grip activation and I DEFINITELY like the way it helps me shoot...you can certainly see every flinch! I will try to get lasers for all of my guns from now on (especially for my new AR build )
