Hello all,

I recently purchased a used Canuck Defender, but it came with only the full choke tube. Seller said he had purchased it the same way, that the original owner had misplaced them, or whatever.

Does anyone know either where a guy could pick up replacement Canuck chokes, or if there's an equivalent/compatible type? It's not a desperate need, but I wouldn't mind having them.

I also posted this question in the hunting/sporting shotguns thread, but thought it might apply in this one as well. Apologies for redundancies.

Thanks for any wisdom or advice.

I believe they are benelli/beretta mobil thread.

I believe any "Mobil" chokes will fit.

If you are looking to get the original set, or something similar, check out S&J hardware website, or contact Simon!

goodluck!

Thanks, I'll check it out. "Simon" at S&J Hardware in Belleville? I've chatted with that guy about Browning pistols. He knows his stuff.

I have a Canuck Marauder....it takes the Benelli/Beretta Mobil chokes. Call O'Dell Engineering if you want to know for sure about your specific model.. They are the Canuck importer for Canada.

Canucks are mainly Beretta Mobil for 12ga.
I use all Beretta Mobil chokes in my Canuck regulator

My Charles Daly 301 20ga was Beretta Mobil as well

The tightwad fits in a canuck hunter, so this charles daly is clearly the issue. Oh well, ill end up using my patternmaster goose. Bought it for the canuck but it shot really low, but with turkey loads it shoots pretty good up to 40yrds

I have a Charles Daly and the choke's threads are at the top of the choke not 2/3 down like others.

Keep in mind that some Turkish pumps have been known to be threaded for Win/invector choke's as well.

I had the same problem with my Charles daly 601. The threads are benelli mobile choke but the threads look thinner/sharper, it's like the tap used for the barrel was worn out. My Stoeger mobile chokes fit but my carlson LM won't.
