Canuck Elite Operator Quality Control issue

It seems more people are interested in making excuses for these companies than doing what they are supposed to & holding them to account. If I can do cycle counts on thousands of parts 3x a yr, these clowns can certainly do it one time. 'quality control costs money'😂😂 No kidding, that's why it should be done prior to leaving the factory or distributor or retailer. Is costs everyone more from a factory defect that was not pulled from the shipment, then it does to let it go through. Time, Money, Reputation

The good thing about this situation, is that you didn't fire the gun, , the shot hitting that choke could have easily folded up the choke, expanding, or even rupturing the barrel.

People often ask why a particular gun costs $3K, and something else (that looks much like it) costs $600. The answer might be quality control. Do you want quality control? Are you willing to pay for quality control? Ultimately, the purchaser must make that decision.
Yes in many cases you do get what you pay for but not always. A friend bought a cheap Turkish Charles Daly shotgun and it was a piece of crap. I spent $3000 about 20 years ago on a new Beretta 687 silver pigeon and the lower barrel hit a foot lower that the top barrel. Sent it back to Stoeger for warranty and they replaced the gun. The replacement was better than the first example but still shot lower than it should, when I complained the second time they said “well we can’t just keep sending you new shotguns”. I kept it and lived with it.

I will never ever buy one of these turkish trash rods again. Had an impact r4 I bought new many fte and the end cap would unscrew because the detent was missing. I got the warranty center to send me a new barrel assembly to remedy the issue and the new barrel the gas cylinder was stripped out. What a total pos.
