Canuck Elite TacOp 12ga

Late to respond...this model seems to be sold out at the moment, but I snagged one in September. I'm very impressed with the fit and finish. I've put about 175 rounds of 50/50 buckshot and slugs through mine...ONE FTF, for no obvious reason in the first 25 rounds, perfect reliability since then. There is no appreciable wear to the bolt face or gas pistons...the ceracote finish isn't even marred. The large handguard and additional bits and pieces justify the premium price IMO, however the handguard, designed to cover the exposed barrel, may be too large for average or smaller hands. The stock plastic handguard is included in the box [I bought mine from Bullseye North]. I don't like the cheap front sight on the gun, but apparently it's no different from the Benelli, so whatever. The front blade _should_ be easily replaceable with a fibre optic blade...if such a thing exists and is available. The adjustable stock works fine. I put a Vortex Sparc II red dot on mine and it works great.

I know the 'Turkinelli' shotguns are controversial...I think a lot depends on who manufactures it and QCs it. Anybody around back when Norinco guns were all over the market knows the problem, and how it was solved with a bit of judicious tweaking and aftermarket parts. I think this gun will serve 99% of shooters extremely well. If you _need_ an authentic, go-to-war, just-like-the-USMC Benelli M4, get used to those credit card payments.

I've had my eye on this one since they announced it, but so far I've never seen it in stock anywhere.
Even the standard Operator Elite is sold out almost everywhere and has been for a while, as far I can tell.
I've seen the odd black version in stock over the past few months but I wanted ODG, before I saw the TacOp 😍

Tengoo you got lucky, or I'm just unlucky...

Well...I see that Red Deer Shooting Center has _one_ wood-stocked Elite Operator left in stock, if that would work for you. I almost wish I had gone for the wood stock myself 'cause it looks pretty nice and more 'standard'. SFRC appears to have a couple too. Good luck...I imagine the TacOps guns will be restocked by Bullseye or Firearms Outlet or one of the other big vendors sooner or later, so keep your powder dry.

Bullseye got 4 Tac Ops models in stock (I'm on the email waitlist) and all 4 were sold in about 6 hours 😄
Maybe I should just get one in black and save $100. I love the Tac Ops though. I'm a sucker for the modern, 'tacticool' style...
