Canuck Enforcer forend upgrade

I have one too and have had mossbergs before that are exactly the same...it is the way they are. From what I have seen any pump shotguns under $2,000 are going to be that way...It does not hurt anything and is that way for clearance and too be easily removed/installed in the manufacturing process to keep the gun cheap. I noticed it does not make any difference when shooting any kind of load and I just accept it now. I am very happy with the Canuck I got. It was better quality than a mossberg at less price and came with a case that was literally $100 quality by Allen,4 chokes and 3 grips all for $395. I put a reflex site on it and found it very accurate as well with 0 issues. There are no compatible replacements for the Canuck but your mom can be replaced pretty easy at the local dive bar.
There are Canuck or Turkish pump shotgun parts for sale on various Canadian gun store web sites. They are usually quite cheap. You can buy a forend and tinker. But it is almost impossible to improve the loose fit (due to the simple drop-in slot design) unless you can re-build it in a way that you can add a Remington or Mossberg forend tube (weld it to the action bars maybe?), so you can use Remington or Mossberg forends on it?
I had also thought about adding a plastic sleeve to the inside of the forend for a slightly tighter fit to the mag tube, so it won't wobble so much. But I haven't found something suitable to put on there.

I looked everywhere and there is no way to alter any pump with plastic stocks, they are all made this way to keep cost down. I agree it is irritating having a gun with what feels like shoddy workmanship but after using it and finding it makes no difference I just get used to it and dig the versatility of a tactical shotgun. After owning several defense types the Canuck brand is the best value I have owned and quality as well. I like that you get a butt stock as well & chokes so it can double as a hunting rifle as well. I put a reflex on it for this and is very accurate as any full size pump for most hunting in the field.
