Hi Folks,

Since the Derya is gone, I'm looking for another semi shotty.

These two have caught my eye and I'm wondering as to what the specific difference are? I'm not seeing too much literature on it. I get that the Operator is an M4 clone, but is the engage the same but in a different chassis, or all together different platform?

Thanks!

I think the engage looks awesome i am not a fan of the benelli clone, had one sold it! the engage looks a lot "cooler" haha ordered one so we will soon see i suppose

My limited experience with Canuck shotguns and O’Dell Engineering have been frustrating and underwhelming to say the least. My advice is to avoid both of those options and look elsewhere. I love my Derya MK12 so it’s not a Turkish thing...but Canuck semi’s have not been good to me...and radio silence when trying to address the issues.

thats sad to hear!

I received my engage yesterday, I have to say its built very nicely, i have owned far too many low end semi auto shotguns and this one is very well built for the price point, i love the look and it points really good as well, cant wait to go out and give it a run through

Ya anyone here play with the both ...thoughts and impressions....the engage looks ok ....is there an action release button on it??...for the price I think it would be a good truck gun ...ahh who really care if it gets scratched

Did you actually reach out to them via their warranty form? I've spoke with a bunch of people who said they were excellent to deal with.

yes i owned both at different times the engage now and the operator previous, i am not a fan of the benelli look and feel, glad i bought the cheap version before plunging in on a real one and yes it has the release button just like the other, its got a great alloy frame not much polymer on it at all, to each his own but i am glad i bought this and i like the way it looks
