I am considering buying one of these for bird hunting. (grouse etc)
I understand there are no ejectors.
I don't think that will be an issue.

Was wondering if anyone has tried them out and any comments you would have?
Quality wise. fit, feel, trigger pull etc.

Thanks

Someone on here mentioned they had steel receivers, that's all I know. Others my chime in, IIRc hunterhenderson was commenting about one.

Made by Khan arms, picked up a 12ga about a mouth ago but still have to get more time and rounds thru it before I can comment on longevity. As for fit and finish, it's a step up from the Stoeger I had before.

So I went and Got one in 410 ....comes with 5 chokes

Wood is beautiful and the finish is VG to E
Gun blueing is E
wood to metal fit is VG to E

I am happy so far but obviously have not shot it yet but I'm not thinking this will be an issue

I think that the Turkish guns range from pretty bad to pretty good.
I know nothing about the Canuck line but I had a Yildiz sxs a number of years ago that had outstanding wood and horrible triggers (10 lbs pull) It had an alloy frame which I'm pretty sure wouldn't stand up to hard use but for a hunting gun it was alright once I got the trigger thing figured out. I've also got a Weatherby Sa-08 that I use in the goose blind with about 300 rounds through it with no problems whatsoever. Also, I have a Huglu sxs that seems quite well made. I wouldn't necessarily shy away from Turkish guns but I'd definitely do my homework before purchasing.

I have a Churchill(Akkar) 12 gauge o/u. Probably put 8 or so flats of trap loads through it without any hiccups. Just pull the buttstock off once and a while and clean and re-oil the engine room and you will be good

I recently bought Canuck O/U's in 28g and 410. My decision was based on the fact that they were steel receivers and came with 5 mobil chokes. I could not find a lot of online information about these. As inexpensive guns I did not expect the quality to be great and I was more than pleased with fit/finish of the guns I received.

I probably won't shoot them a great deal and bought to have these sub gauges in my collection at a reasonable price.

They come with a 2 year warranty supplied by the importer...O'Dell Engineering.

I bought a 20 gauge o/u last year for ducks. It’s a bit heavy and the action is super tight. I only shot about 50 rounds. It’s Ok. The price was right that’s for sure. I prefer a pump but that’s just me. I look forward to shooting some trap with it to loosen up the break.

Any particular reason? I have CZ Redhead Deluxe that has me considering a second Turkish shotgun.

The British have come around on Turkish guns. They have a $3800 Turkish gun on their market from Yildiz and the thing actually sells. Its a Perazzi MX8 clone for 2250 quid. More expensive than a Silver Pigeon 1 yet it actually sells. Some photos of the internals of the Yildiz Pro shows that the gun is very well made. Everything is machined and polished perfectly. Even though its on the inside and you're not likely to even see it.
