Canuck Operator - Using 2 5/8 00 Shells..?

Hi All.. anyone can answer my question?

is it safe to use 2 5/8 buckshot 00 shells in the canuck operator? shells are brand new 2021 manufacture

Yep- any shell that is at or under the chamber length is safe. The Operator is chambered in 3", so any shorter shell will be safe, however some of the lighter loaded shells may not cycle well.

I have some s&b light recoil slugs of this length. The sizing of the shell is European.
As said, anything under the gauge stamping on the barrel is fine.
