I currently own a Canuck operator and am debating adding a Charles Daly ca612 to the mix. My question is how is the 612. Better then the operator? Anyone shoot both? Thanks

Use the right ammo and it should be fine would be my guess even though I do not own one - I have the CD o/u 410 that I bought last year - cleaned the whole thing read the entire safety and instruction manual and will be taking it out tomorrow for rabbits.

With all budget bracket firearms do not expect a sports car experience when you have a grocery getter.

Update to my post above:
My Charles Daley 410 o/u had only one (not a biggy) down fall. I wish it came with swing swivels - not a deal breaker the good far outweighed this - it was the perfect weight to carry around in the bush, pointed easy and the trigger is perfect for a hunting rifle for me anyways.

I did have a rabbit sprint across from my left about 20 yards away - took one shot and it was done - I had both improved modified and modified chokes. Dad got one with his 12g about 1/2 later and we called it a day.

For the price I paid it was/is a good valued shotgun - it got the job done.

Anyone know how to get the magazine spring and follower out of the 612? The front end of the mag tube is rolled so nothing can come out the front like a Remington.
