Getting back to topic, the whole point of this thread, was that lefties and non-hunters were trashing David Booth, for killing a magnificent trophy black bear. Ethically. Expertly placed shot. Humane kill. And you would think hunters would stand up and defend each other. But nope, not you.
And you won't let it go... ?? You've been draggin this BS out for 2-3 days or something.
A lot of guys have given excellent answers regarding this. But you stupidly continue to trash them. So that's why I figure maybe you're retarded. Hitting your head on the wall like that.
I'm amazed that you persist in this idiotic debate with Hoyt, when the guy is clearly an expert hunter. How can you not see that? Look at those great, mature trophies that he's taken with bow & arrow. That's friggin' awesome.
Yet somehow you continue to question the guy. You challenged Hoyt to hunt the big ones, after he's already posted numerous pics of big ones... ?? What!? That confused me!!
Your statement that a rifle kills more certainly than a well placed broadhead is BS. It's not true. Watch the video of Jack Brittingham, taking the World Record Brown Bear, with bow and arrow, then tell me a broadhead is not lethal.
Using a range finder for a bow hunter is simply common sense, ethical hunting.
You throw out pithy comments, looking down your nose at bow hunters, bait hunters, while you walk around with a .300WSM.
What the hell is wrong with a GPS or a game camera!?
Is a compass okay?
Do you drive a pickup to your hunting area or are you doing it the 'hard way' there too?
Do you use a scope on your rifles? Wouldn't that be wrong?
Back to a point I made earlier; if you don't like bait hunting, and you're not going to change your mind, then at least shut the f**k up about it.
Btw, I still would like to see pics of your big game kills, I'm sure you've dropped your share, living where you do. That's wicked whitetail country.
So I ask you for a few pics of your big game animals, because I cannot find any of your game animal pics on this site.
P.S. The correct spelling is immature...

That bear's no bigger than my dog
Great Post. By all means, if you get a chance to go out with someone you know and respect who hunts bears over bait, take the opportunity, if just to observe. Everyone I know who has done so for the first time comes away with a much better appreciation of this form of hunting than they had prior to going out.
