Is there a reliable make/model for a C & B revolver available?
So far,my research has brought up Pietta at Marstar. On-line I searched the Traditions website as well and found a few varieties there as well.
I'm looking (future purchase) for either a .36 or .44 that won't break the bank.
Thank's all

Uberti 1858 New Army is a clone of the Remington C & B of the same name and is reasonably priced.
It's easier to clean than the Colt clones.
There have been a couple on the exchange forum for sale recently.

Navy Arms out of the US is a good distributor. I think they get most of their replica firearms manufactured in Italy (Uberti, Pietta, Pedersoli, etc.)

You must have an 1847 Colt Walker Replica .44

4 lbs 11 oz. of pure fun!!:D

As others have already mentioned, Uberti is a great replica. I'm not sure of dealers in Canada for these, but there always seems to be the odd one for sale in the exchange forum.

I owned a Pietta for several years...a very nice shooter, '58 Remington clone. The fit and finish were not as nice as the Pedersolis I've handled, but it was quite accurate and tons of fun. I'd still have it now but I gave it to a friend in Alberta who was kind enough to give me hunting access to great property.
Colt clones are a bit harder to disassemble for cleaning, but I think the steel-frame 1861 Navy .36 is one of the slickest pistols ever, and there were European companies cloning them. Cimarron had a gorgeous one, made by Pedersoli I think. Much more graceful than the '51 Navy Colt.
