Capacity of the 12 gauge shotgun?

If you get a shotgun with interchangeable barrels (slug, turkey, birds) you’re all set. Squirrels, bunnies, coyotes, turkeys, deer, even moose if you’re close enough.

The correct answer to your question lies within your provincial hunting regs, for example BC’s hunting synopsis clearly outlines what you can and can’t hunt with regards to center fire, rimfire, archery.

Please god, tell me you’ve tried, and it’s on film.

I can't recall which one, but one of the north eastern US states had a shotgun season for pike. I don't know if it still exists, it was a few years ago I read about it.

Jim

EDIT: I just did a search, it is Vermont and they still have it. Apparently rifles are also allowed.

Holy bejeebus.

Just looked it up. Lake Champlain in Vermont. Not just shotguns... rifles and pistols too!

just about anything really birdshot for small game and birds steel shot for waterfowl(in a modern shotgun only) buckshot and slugs for things like coyote, deer, black bear, moose. a shotgun is the most versatile hunting tool anyone could own and if its the only things you could afford its will put meat on the table
