I have found cappers that will work very well for an unaltered cylinder on a 1858 Rem cap&ball . They are 3-D printed by one of our members. They should work for any colt as well as cap lock rifles.I wish I could do pictures.
But if any one is interested PM super on gunnutz I am sure he can get you some pics. he had some pics on here some where but I could not find them this morning . They will make loading for cowboy matches so much easier .
