Anyone happen to know the governmental stance on what would happen if a company decided to, let's say, pick up it's plant and move to another country?
Hypothetically

I'll bite, and I will acknowledge, that this post seems to be very coincidental, since Stellantis just announced it was moving the Jeep production to IL.
Fortunately Liebral votes are in for a rude awakening, having been sold a bill of goods by another carnival huckster, in a bankers suit, LOL.
Economics 101 for anyone, a merchant has no country, there are no "canadian" car companies, and 5000 auto jobs in the US is a big win for Trump and Stellantis. Stay tuned as more dominios fall, and we see the "short sightedness" of subsiding these companies, instead of removing regulation and encouraging competition and lower taxes. Good Luck

👊 Would this be considered a punch to the face to ### *ahem* I mean blank. Surely, it's devastating to the families and such and that is sadness to all involved.

Climate Barbie is on it:
Joly wrote to Stellantis chief executive officer Antonio Filosa to express "extreme concern" over the company's decision and to "demand that the company respect its obligations flowing from billions of dollars of financial support extended to you over decades."
