I run a Surefire Scout light m300a , it's 125 lumens I believe , quite lite and indestructible. The beam has great throw. I've also used the Inforce WML , it's a really good light , extremely lite but I prefer a tape switch to having to modify my grip to have the light at the ready at all times. Maybe with the thorntail offset mount it would work out better ? Then again surefire is a proven system

I gave up on pressure switches and use inforce wml's. It all depends on mounting location and if you flash and move

I usually use a surefire 6P or G series lights on my rifles, mounted with either a 1" ring or offset mount. No tape switches... they usually seem to fail a whole lot quicker than the regular thumb buttons.

Inforce WPL. Can't be beat for the price.
What size barrel/rail do you have?
Tape switches work better than Inforce lights on under 16" barrels/shorter rails as I find the shorter rails place the light to far back. This forces you to move your hand around to activate the light.
With the tape switch you can put it where you want, in between side and top rails, on a vertical grip, on the receiver etc.
On 16" + barrels with the longer rails you can put the Inforce right at your thumb, if your gripping the forearm/rail with your hand forward.
I use both the Surefire scout light and the Fenix TK11 with pressure switch.
The Surefire is cleaner with a shorter wire while the Fenix has a longer coiled wire that needs to be controlled in some way with tape or zip ties etc.
The Fenix however is a much less expensive option that the Surefire Scout light.
I run my TK11 with a Gear Sector mount which places the light in between the top and side rail.
