Carbon Fiber M&P 9... You got to see this!

I had seen it today at the store and it does look really good in person..... But I couldn't resist the cz shadowline next to it for only $819.
 
If it were made of actual carbon fibre it would basically be the coolest handgun EVAR. However, as it's a regular plastic frame with a paintjob and a substantially higher price tag, its coolness is well below that of a regular M&P, probably somewhere alongside a Hi Point.

Agreed. Priced way too high.

If it was the same money, it *may* appeal to a certain segment but for $1k?...
 
Due to all negative feedback, and no real improvement against basic one, this model should be offered with big discount. Like, $500 range
 
Dont want to be a negative nancy but this kinda look like those cheap shift knob, handbrake and wiper blade with a weird fake carbon fiber print that was for sale at walmart and canadian tire :p

I had the same thought!!!
There are some really nice carbon fiber prints, but this is not one of them.


The FDE, on the other hand, looks very good.
 
Looks like someone took carpet under lay from hope depot and a can of krylon and just added 10hp to their M&P. Carbon fiber look......anyone want a kobe beef style burger or a caviar inspired bowl of fish eggs.
 
I don't think it's made of Carbon fiber... It's kind of like those kit cars you see rolling around the city with a black hood.. Most are not "Made" from carbon fiber.
I checked the S&W site and it says "Made from polymer"....

^^this, if it was offer at the same price as the regular ones or little bit more even, I will not judge, if somebody likes it, good for them.
but $400 extra for a paint job? not even a shred of real carbon fiber? do they(S&W) think we are dumb or are they high?
 
Will I buy it? no. Is it neat? Hell Yeah it is. But FDE or OD would of been a HUGE hit. Unfortunately it's priced it's self out of the market. Like the dragons say "I'm out"
