Where do you find your rifles? Recently became interested in either a Carcano 38 TS or 91/24 but I can’t seem to find one anywhere. And I thought finding a correct Mosin M38 was tough.

It's Feast or famine. Just luck, sold off 10 last year. Check out the locat gun shops and rural shops too.

I’ve found some M41 Carcano rifles but no luck on the shorter carbine versions which I love the look of. Not many good shops around me that carry milsurps. Hoping one pops up on the EE

Never know where you can find military surplus. I have a wish list written down so I am actually looking for a few and not just after one. If you go looking for one it seems to take a long time finding what you want. Local gun shops, local people, enternet or gun clubs. The hunt is part of the fun. Now finding a Rasheed unexpected is well sweet. One more off my list. Enjoy your search.

I’m on the hunt for a couple right now. Also looking for a nice M95 carbine in somewhat original shape or showing use. Having trouble finding both but more interested in a nice Carcano

I have a good amount of Italian rifles and unfortunately I’ve had to bring up most from the states, I’m missing a few models between the vetterlis and carcanos but I doubt I’ll see them up here. It’s not common to see the ts models up here for whatever reason. M91 long rifles, m41s, and m38 corto seem to be the most common.

Checked P et S they don’t have any carcano right now. Maybe I’ll give up on the carcano dream for the moment. I love short rifle variants and carbines. Find them really interesting.

EE and some luck. Grabbed 3 of my carcano’s on the EE. Both seller didn’t knew what they had (and for the record neither i knew what i was buying lol) got lucky and the first carbine i got ended up being a 91/24 and the second a very late war M41 made under german occupation. I might suggest grabing anything exept a 91/24 if you want to shoot it. These are aweful being cut down M91

I’m most interested in a 91/38 TS something about the calvary carbine doesn’t look right to my eye. I think it is the weird angle of the bayo

I have one of these too. really sweet and handy gun. Wish you good luck finding yours they show up on the EE once in a while.

Well I wouldn't classify myself as a collector, I did want to get a Carcano as my grandfather had fought up through Italy during the war.

I lucked out just talking to a fellow member at my gun club. I mentioned I was looking and he told me he had one that did not fit into his collection.

He gave it to me free of charge and I have enjoyed shooting it ever since.

You are doing the right thing getting the word out. Just talk to as many people as you can and maybe it will work out!

Good luck!

Nice find free of charge!!

Love stories like that. I’m keeping my eye out but looking for a specific variant might take some time

Just sold two last week, I see them often and I've had a few now. Keep your eyes peeled - they also come up on the auctions fairly often, check there. Tradex had a few recently, also check greatnorthgunsupply they had a few M41's in.

Good luck!
