Carcano show and tell

I have a little carbine in 7.35. Noisy little bugger. I can imagine the racket when there was a firefight going on and soldiers were close together!!

So what're the gun laws in Italy like at the moment?

Not bad at all since the new law of the November 2013. Limitation in the magazine capacity of long arms and pistols ( 5 and 15) and other stupid things that We are trying to change ( sporting weapons have not that kind of limitation and many ARs and KS are sporting tools for italian law). Registratio of the weapons exist since before the Second World War. We can continue to have AR15, AK and all the kind of semiautos made in the world also automatic weapons modified in only semiautomatic fire. Not be problems in the numbers but any kind of weapon ( Old and New, Long and Short, made before 1890 or after, bayonets or fighting knife) must be denounced in 72 hour since the buy and only by people with a police autorisation. It Is little long to explane all ;)

Well the rifle here is not a 91/24 but a Model 1891/28 Truppe Speciali ( Special Troops) or a Model 1891 T.S. that has passed to the arsenal of Gardone in the 1941. I need the markings on the receiver to identifie better the origin and the model.

regards

Sorry for the late reply, but she is a Brescia manufactured in 1917.

I must say that I'm quite fond of the carcano. Nice light recoil and there's something special about their no nonsense design.

I only own one, a mint model 38 which is a little cannon and a great gun to carry in the bush.
