I bought a italian Carcano rifle. I'm trying to find 6.5mm carcano ammunition to go with it. Not much maybe 2 boxes at the most. Can anybody tell me where i can buy it online? Will an american supplier send me a box or is there some kind of cross border laws for buying ammo.

Any retailer that carries Norma ammunition can get you their 6.5 x 52. Expect to pay about $40.00/box.

There is almost no surplus ammo still out there.

i have a carcano aswell and i found that gun shows are a pretty good place to search for cheap reloads i have also had 2 boxes of norma ordered for me and it was $96 for the 2 boxes.

Ammo must be approved for importation by our side too. You can't go there and bring it back either. Read the 'Sticky'.
Epp's does list it. Likely Norma. Pricey stuff.
Buying ammo on-line is expensive due to high shipping costs.
"...cheap reloads..." Never, ever shoot other people's reloads. Unless it was loaded by a licenced commercial reloader, you have no idea if the guy knew what he was doing and it's illegal to sell reloads without a licence. That doesn't affect you.
