I just picked up a pre 64 Model 64 Winchester in .30 wcf. which has a Carl Henrich ( not Hienrich) 2.5 x32 scope. German post and cross hair. Trying to find something on this particular brand. Searching on Google brings up nothing for me . Anyone out there know of this scope manufactuer?

Carl Henrich rifle scope ?

Does it have Made in Japan on the bottom of the scope? Alot of scopes in the 1950-70's had German sounding names on these scopes, to make them sell fast! Even if it is, they are still great glass for small calibre rifles, they work great and I always pick them up as they have real good glass in them!
If it is a true German/Austrian glass, I do not have any listing in my Scope Reference library?
