Never used a "staking tool" myself. Just use a good center punch and a hammer and you're good to go.

Did you buy a BCG recently from a vendor and it came without staking? I also had to stake recently and went the hammer/punch route...really not as bad as you'd think...give it a go...

I've seen a few messed up jobs with a hammer and a punch.

The tool is not bad. I would loan you mine, but I loaned it out already and have not gotten it back.
