Unforunately its not Knyoch ammo or original hh ammo...but wouldnt it be nice to be able to walk into a store and plunk down a grand total of $8.50 for a box of .375 H.H. ammo...There is one round missing out of it...but I thought I would share it anywho!!!

Thanks for the reminder, i have a couple or three boxes of those stashed away from about 1975 I think.
My first 375, a Browning Safari was well under $ 300 with scope new in the box from a Saskatchewan hardware store back in the day.

I still have a pretty good stash of those in 270 gr. from a shop that was closing out in Edmonton in the '70s. "How much for the stack?" got me a dozen boxes for $200.00. It shoots so well that I hoard it....damned if I know why! But I can say for sure it's the most accurate .375 factory ammo I've ever shot.
The guy sold me a pair of Winchester 101s at the same time, one in 20 gauge and one in 12 gauge, for $600 apiece. I sold them for $750 apiece, NIB unfired, and thought I was Donald Trump. There never seems to be anyone around to kick my butt when I really need it.....I don't even want to know what they'd be worth now.

From my experience the old Winchester Silvertip were a pretty darn good hunting bullet and very accurate.
Wish they were still made even though we have excellent hunting bullets nowadays.

Yup, very cool box, thanks for sharing. I have had several of those boxes in 348WCF, but the boxes were very rough so ammo got used. Love the old Silvertips.

Being a pack rat and just liking old ammo boxes I have amassed a nice collection of them, all by chance and just saving boxes from over the years.
I have many of the Win. yellow boxes, some loaded some not. Along with Western Super X which are blue and pale yellow.. Western Super x in red and gold.... Imperial and Dominion CIL in blue and yellow also Dominion Cartridge marked for Winchester- Marlin -Savage- Stevens rifles, a green coloured box very old. Also very old several boxes marked Union Metalic Cartridge Co. for Winchester -Marlin - Savage rifles 30-30 smokeless. A couple more marked KYNOCH Limited, Birmingham England marked 38-55 for Winchester- Marlin and Ballard rifles.

Also have a big box of old magazines with Guns and Ammo going back to the early 60's, Shotgun Times when it was in news paper form. Like I said I can be a pack rat for older shooting stuff.

If I ever develop my skill to post pictures on here I will post them up as of course a picture is worth a thousand words.

Fun stuff.

I've got a box of 300 grain round nose in .338 win mag in that same yellow box, as well as most of a box of 250 grain Silvertip.

I've never seen any other factory 300 grain ammunition for .338.

Coooooool !!!! Most people don't even know what I'm talking about when I refer to "old Winchester yellow box".................

Been a while since I bought factory ammo . . . ya mean Winchester boxes aren't yellow anymore?

Next you'll be telling me that Remington isn't green and white anymore, or that CIL and Browning aren't black and gold!

i have 11 boxes of win yellow box silver tips in 308. 150 and 200 grn in my cabinet. i think the price tag on the boxes is $5.85 or something close.
