Cartridge collectors

Those cartridge boards are nice and would be allot more organized than my totes 😂.

I love two photos of cartridge headstamps kind of a passion project that other photography work pays for. Also make calendars for family and friends over the years.

Definitely wouldn’t mind seeing a place to share collections. I used to have a wanted ad/list but my list got to long and won’t fit anymore. Found some pretty cool ones that way.

Here is fun shot of some of them.

I definitely need to get my list setup for viewing.

A couple of years ago I scored 60 new Gevelot 8x57 brass. I traded some 38S&W ammo for them. The brass didn’t come with a Gevelot box. I have a half decent collection of older shots he’ll boxes, some with ammo. Many years ago, I scored a box of 100(?) Kynoch 7x57 ammo. I’ve never fired any of that ammo.

Well if you are serious about collecting its either St Louis etc, or in Canada, the Edmonton show. These are pics from todays show in Edmonton (Nisku). Sadly no 2.7mm Kolibri, or much 7X57 stuff, but, 13mm TUF, Maroshek, Gau 8, a ton of rare euorpean and north american stuff, boxes, casings, books etc.

I find it hard to find anyone to trade cartridges with and there are never any gun shows where I am.

I’ve resorted to looking for single pieces of resized brass in the calibers I don’t have and just popping in a primer and powder and then pressing in a projectile.

One of the auctions had a little collection of singles (Landsborough lot 4058). Though it depends what you want.
