cartridge displays

Not sure if this is the section I should have posted in or not but I have finally ordered a cartridge board to display the ones I have owned over the years and I am wondering what you all use to shine and clean them up before you display them? I am sure there are brass and copper cleaners but wondering if there is any alternatives? Maybe tooth paste? Thanks in advance for you ideas and thoughts.

Cartridge collectors everywhere cringe in pain when anyone talks about shining, polishing, or cleaning cartridges. I would recommend wiping them down a bit with a light oily cloth. They might not be as "purty" as you'd like, but they will be what they are, and they will hold some collector value.

I used to use brasso, You can find it just about anywhere, Now I just tumble the rounds, yes I tumble live rounds

I have been tumbling live rounds for 30 years, no issues yet.
