Cartridge recommendations for game

Some of the ammunition manufacturers used to include a "cartridge recommendations for game" kind of chart.

I have been looking online and can't seem to find a whole lot. Anyone recommend a site?

Also I am wondering on what they base their recommendations specifically.



Oh, I am looking for links to published information please. No need to tell me what cartridge you use for moose or what your grandfather said was minimum for black bear. Thanks.

Common sense......and perhaps a quick look at the manufacturers products.

Winchester has a system based on bullet type in their ammunition. It is on every box.

It was common before we had such a wide array of bullet construction...not anymore.
