Howdy, Welcome to CAS. There's not very much in the GTA for old west style cowboy clothing, unless you're planning on B-Western class. In that case Trdacks (spelling?) on Dundas in Mississauga just west of Hurontario (North Side) has some appropriate shirts, and hats, and boots. If you want to go Old West, you'll have to mail order in, or do some shopping on a south of the border jaunt. What size pants, and shirts do you take. I'm just south of you in Burlington. (My kids stable is just southwest of ACton) I may have something that would work if you're the right size. Boots you can get at Kelehers in Cambridge (again, if you're not trying for period correct) or Herberts in Cookstown (hwy 89 & 400) Hats at both of those places as well, and you can go to the Biltmore factory outlet store in Guelph for hats as well (I've gotten some dandy hats there). Spurs, etc at any tack store. There's a pretty good store in St. Catharines (Horseworld Emporium) and they have a few old style shirts and vests, as well as chaps, hats, etc. For the old style pants, I've never seen a dealer in Eastern Canada. There's Cowboy's Choice in Vernon, B.C. that'll carry frock coats, Wahmaker vests, and pants, as well as old time shirts, and a really good selection of silk neck rags. I was just there last week. (My hometown) They also have black stovepipe boots in limited sizes. Mail order from the states is not bad, but really expensive. At least the selection is good. E-Bay works really well. The low prices on lightly used gear can offset the ridiculous shipping charges. Do a search on Wah-maker, or Frontier Classics. The best start would be to come to a shoot (in the winter, Barrie or Wentworth) and ask around. A lot of cowboy shooters have stuff that experiences "closet shrinkage". Also check the O.S.A.S.F. website. There's a classified section there. That's about all I can think of for now. PM me your phone # if you like and I'll give you a call, and answer any other questions I can.
