Cas targets
As much as it pains me to say this, Cariboo Lefty is right. Oh man that hurt !
The nut welded on the back of the targets works wonders as a hanger and it is easy and fast for set up and tear down of stages.
Rebar is not good to use. Best is steel round bar for stands 1/2" is what we used and it works well.
For the targets themselves, ONLY choices are T100 or AR plate. The mild steel will quicly deform and get dimples that will deflect and scatter lead splash in wrong places. You will have to replace the mild steel targets several times while the T100 or AR plate will last for a long long time. Initial cost is higher, but making the targets out T100 or AR plate will outlast the others and you only have to cut & weld them once. More time spend shooting at them and less time repairing or replacing them.
