I've been using a vibratory tumbler with the same batch of media for well over 10000 pistol rounds and at least a 1000 rifle rounds and there was little dust. I'd say at about the half-way mark some of the media started breaking down, but I tried putting a small piece of a Bounce dryer sheet in with the media and brass for a cycle and low and behold, almost all the small particles and dust where adhered to the sheet. I've only had to do that a couple times so far, haven't even used a single full dryer sheet yet! I'm using that red "tuff-nut" walnut media which seemed to last longer before breaking down compared to the corn based stuff.
With that said, I'll be getting a Frankford Arsenal SS tumbler as soon as I can get a decent deal on one. I like really clean, shiny brass.
