I'm looking for a dealer who carries or can order me a set of case forming dies for my 17 Fireball. I'm not picky about the brand but most of my dies are RCBS and Redding. Any help would be appreciated.

Any RCBS dealer can order them if their supplier has them in stock. Case forming dies aren't cheap though. Midway, Stateside, wants $62.99 for the Redding die. Redding makes them on a custom order basis only too. And you'd need to find some .221 Fireball brass.
It'd be less fuss to buy some loaded Remington ammo or brass and a set of regular dies. Epp's lists the ammo and brass. Talk to your local gun shop about both. Having it shipped will cost a fortune.

If you don't mind ordering from Stateside try Huntington Die Specialties
www.huntingtons.com they are excellent folks to deal with and are very speedy shippers. Without knowing where you're located, the problem I have getting the dies I need is that local dealers / gun shops all get their merchandise from a common distributor who is simply not interested in ordering dies other than the common 30-06, 270, 30-30 etc.
The last set of dies I tried to order were apparently going to take 6 to 8 weeks to get to the dealer, so I ordered from Huntington and my dies arrived 4 days later.

Thanks for the tip Kevan If I don't get a reponse to my request in the EE I'll give them a call. In the past I've ordered directly from RCBS but their web site says they only ship to Canada via a distributor now. Like you any time I've gone looking for anything out of the ordinary from the locaal guys I get blank looks and a runaround. It's to bad when they don't know what they are talking about they don't just say so.

Sunray I've been down this road often enough to know the cost is high but that's the price I pay for wanting something out of the ordinary. You're right though "Any RCBS Dealer can order them" unfortunately most simply don't want to go through the hassle even when I'm prepared to pay the price.

Epp's is an RCBS retailer. They're the best place for anything out of the ordinary. I'd still buy some ammo, brass and dies though. .221 Fireball brass isn't easy to find either.

There may be better, but my experience is that Epps are the very best shop I've ever dealt with...honest, speedy shippers, and on many occasions willing to dicker on the price tag. If you buy something from them in the morning it will be on its way to you before the store closes.
However, because I live in B.C. it is much faster to buy dies from Huntingtons and the shipping costs are less than if I buy from a store in Calgary.
When I buy from Ontario, average shipping time is about 9 or 10 days and almost that long from Calgary, but I've received parcels from Southern California in 4 days via US Postal Service.
