Case Head Separation * Updates Post 5 and 12 Big Pic warning*

Seen this before.
If your weapon slam fires(free floating firing pin mechanism) Its a primer issue or you have crap built up in the bolt causing the firing pin to hit hard on its foward action.. I've had entire mags go off due to soft primers. The bolt was damaged because of not being fully locked during the run away. The bolts are brutal to get back together after stripping. You can get a tool for or make a jig if you can for this. I clean mine out with break cleaner every 1000 rds or so.
Those are execellent photographs you took (wish guys on the EE did such).
M14/m1as and Garands require hand loads to get everything right. If you buy cheap bulk ammo you what you pay for. Zero accuracy and damaged guns. My 2 cents worth...and im not drunk yet.

Thinking about my baby today... Here is a bit of a memorial..

Thanks BIG TIME for this Rocket, I'm sticking to this advice seriously!

Learn from my mistakes lol

Sometimes you get lucky and don't notice these things. There was this girl I dated when I was like 15 or 16 and 13 years later she has 4 kids with 4 different guys. I mean I got lucky and all, and there was no mistake to learn from (well it ended up to be a mistake) but just keep your brass to 4 firings and you're good.
