I lube cases with 5-30 from a small oil can, on a facecloth that my wife does not know I have. I just lube the body of the case and not the neck. I put on the least oil I can, and I lube every case. If I find the necks are tight on the expander, I put a phospher bronze cleaning brush in a drill, and buff up the insides of the case necks a bit. I do not lube for the expander. I wipe the sized cases as clean as I can, then I throw them in the tumbler with a little brasso.

Once I started doing this I quit having stuck cases, and the cases went in and out of the dies much easier.

I did a bunch of 7.62 Nato 1x that had been fired out of something beltfed and used Amsoil motor oil on them and it went a lot easier. I usually just use Imperial Wax or RCBS lube pad.

Mix a tube of lee case lube to 500-1000ml of water and then dip your cases in it, let it dry. Works good on small to medium sized cartridges. Tumbles off real easy and even if you don't get it out of the inside of the case, it won't contaminate the powder like oil does.

You can also mix it with rubbing alcohol and spray it on if that floats your boat.

I tried the Redding/Imperial sizing die wax for the first time a while back and really like it. I won't be going back to the Lee lube any time soon.

Imperial wax or RCBS Liquid are my choices.

For the RCBS Liquid Lube I put a bunch of cases in a large ziploc freezer bag and about a 1-1.5" strip of lube in the bag. Close up the zip (leave air in the bag) and jumble the cases around in the bag for a minute or so.

Can do 100+ cases in about 2 minutes from start to finish.
