For rifle rounds on my dillon, I always lube, size, trim & prime OFF PRESS. You need to check for brass length after resizing, and a press does not do that for you.
For my process I'm currently running 1K of .223 brass for loading on my dillon 550.
#1: full length size & de-deprime on a single stage press ( I use Hornady unique lube)
#2: Trim all brass using my Little Crow Gunworks WFT trimmer
#3: Tumble clean the lube off all the brass
#4: Chamfer the inside lip of the brass to make loading bullets easier
#5: Prime all cases (I use a Lee hand primer)
#6: Setup my Dillon 550 for powder drop, bullet seat, and crimp
That's my progressive process (not so progressive)!
