I am wondering what would happen if a reloaded case would ever rupture in a Swedish Mauser action. I am not talking about head seperation, rather along the lines of a split neck where the crack follows into the shoulder area.

Should be nothing more than a ruined shell casing. For anything more to happen the chamber would have to be weaker than the brass and the lower part of the case will still seal now if it split all the way down you would get gas in the action could be hard on the eyes.
