Well the RCBS dies are on their way. I was finally able to find a set in 223. They were non existent for a while there and the reason I looked at Whidden in the first place. Little more than I like to spend on a die.
I was able to take some measurements tonight and compare with what I was given. The clearance hole size for the neck is oversized. I'm willing to bet that the bushing isnt sitting in the right spot either. Looks like manufacturing defect or a mislabeled die. Now not something I would like to see buying something for the first time, but I must say that the customer service from John at Whidden has been outstanding. As a tool and die maker myself, I know that mistakes are made in manufacturing and sometimes overlooked. At least now I know if I purchase something from them in the future, they stand behind their product which is more than I can say for many outfitters.
The real question is..........what should I name this wildcat caliber? Thanks again for all the info gents!!
