One of the guys at work is mystified and wants your help. He reloads all kinds of ammo but now, with a set of dies he got on e-bay, the brass stretch's up to 7 thou when resized. It's a 300 win mag round and the brass is lubed in the case neck and out. I will get him to check the expander ball dia. tonight. Any ideas what the problem is. Thanks...Bob

Stretching 7 thou as measured before and after sizing only, or before and after shooting/sizing?
If the expander ball was to big, the case wouldn't hold the bullets. As snowshoe suggested, he may be setting the shoulder back too far. Have him back the sizing die out a half turn and try again.

Sounds like his die is seated to far down. Does the round come out looking like it did before it went in, or does it look different from the other brass?
Ask him to try and chamber a dummy.... I dont think its going to fit
