Me too. Have them in two lengths. - danI went with Forster 40 years ago. A little more expensive to acquire, but still going strong.
Product improved trimming dies will trim and chamfer in one shot.
As a bonus you can use the setup to neck turn.
This kept me running even in my service rifle days.
Never heard of it. Just had to look it up. Looks very similar to the Giraud Tri-way trimmer.Little Crow system available at Brownells is brilliant! I have used mine to trim thousands of cases with minimal fuss and time spent and it lelaves a good finish if used properly.
Having the short body only is what led me into trying the others. I was being obstinate about not ordering a long base out of the US, frt was worth as much as the part, none to be had up here at the time. Ended up spending probably 2500.00 jacking around with them. Only one I liked was the 21st Century. And all I really needed was a long Forster body, for one cartridge that I got rid of since then. I will probably never buy Hornady again. RCBS was too big and awkward, motorized version, an didn't like the shellholder setup or the lever system. Don't know til you try though.Me too. Have them in two lengths. - dan
I have the drill version on a progressive with a powered screwdriver. The only faster way would be a Dillon RT1200 / RT1500, and that's speaking from experience.I have recently got the Lee Deluxe quick trim with a kit I bought for my son. Have yet to put it through its paces. It should be slick. Better if you buy the drill version of it.
Dillon has a setup and I believe there is one on the ee currently. May need to buy caliber specific dieI am on the hunt for a case trimming system, the Lyman Easy-trim I have sucks and has proven to be unreliable.
Who makes the best case trimmer out there in your opinion ???
