Cases of 308, 147gr FMJ, might be able to get some in.

I put this in the ammo section as well. It isn't meant as an ad, just to gauge interest as I'd prefer not to have 10k of 308 ammo sitting around if I order it.

I might have a line on 5-10 cases of S&B (Sellier & Bellot) 308. 147gr FMJ. New production commercial ammo in boxes of 20. Brass case, boxer primed, non corrosive....ie reloadable. Price would be between $849-$879 a case of 1000. Should I bring it in?

Ehhhh....seems a little steep....even for clean reloadable

.85 to .89 cents per bang....

ammo is supposed to get cheaper the more ya buy....

It will be available by the case, 1/2 case, 200 rnds, box etc. I'll talk to the distributor, if someone else has it cheaper I'm sure they can do better.

Unfortunatly that rule doesn't seem to apply when you are dealing with 308. It is often so hard to get (even for me) that deals and even availability are often few and far between.

That price isn't enticing to me. I get great results with cheap federal 308, and it can be had for around that price. Good to see options though.

Brass washed steel bullets - or copper jacketed lead ?

Buddy of mine ordered ammo in bulk (25 cases S&B M-43 this past summer), the discount was about 30% off. Maybe you should consider getting more than 10 cases. You will have no problem selling it eventually.

Depending on shipping and final price, since I wouldn't be in a hurry as I have some, I'd like to support forum members, suppliers, and sponsors. I'd consider 1/2 a case or a full one.
