CASM Gen2 Mount Installation fail

Seems to me that you may not have followed the installation instructions. The rail is a cantilever design. The screws at the rear apply a lot of pressure to hold the front of the rail firmly pressed against the receiver....enough to bend the rail if you over tighten the various screws. There is no attachment at the front of the mount to "come loose". The screw at the front is to increase the cantilever tension, not to fasten the front to the receiver.

In your picture, there is no cantilever pressure. I'd unscrew the rail and reinstall following the instructions precisely. There are lots of these mounts in the wild and they are well regarded. Unless your receiver has some truly horrendous dimensional issues with the rear sight pocket, it should install without issues.

Use the Loctite. Follow the instructions exactly. They also have a installation video on their site if you like to follow along watching a video. Once it on, it will not come loose. I've put 500+ rounds through my M305 and it has not moved at all.
 
The CASM is a great mount. It has adjustment fore and aft to "pre-load" up to 20Moa of cant into the rail.

It's probably the "best bang for your buck" scope mount on the Canadian market right now. The only real down side is the loss of the rear sight, the built in peep does work as a substitute.

I respectfully disagree.

I do not use the lock-tite supplied with the CASM mount. If it didn't have set-screws it would be needed, but the set-screws negate any advantage of the lock-tite. All the lock-tite does is make it almost impossible to remove the mount later down the road.

This^^

The set screws by design negate Loctite...they are a definitive locking mechanism for the mounting screws that physically block rather than gluing the htreads in place.
Nothing wrong with Loctite...when used sparingly and the right compound....when there are no set screws....but the casm design incorporates set screws into its well designed setup.

Nothing wrong with a very slight dab of blue Loctite ....but it is not required.
